Utrogestan Conti - day 27

I’m feeling absolutely dreadful.
Bad headache, no sleep and a impending sense of doom.
Is this normal?
Also presumably I still should be on my oestrogen patches all the time?
When should I expect a bleed?
Jingling please help?

Are you using 100mgs daily? Orally?

Yes, estrogen all the time, 365 days a year.

Is this your first cycle with it?

You ought not to bleed at all- it's continuous.

I couldn't use it conti. Got a migraine daily and also spotting (though spotting is par for the course with any conti for up to 6 months.)

Who suggested using it every single day?

The conti 'regime' is usually 26 days, allowing for a bleed if anything is there to come away. So in theory that would be from 1 May to 26 May then restart on 1 June.

No, yesterday was the first day without the Utrogestan.

Have you felt like this all 26 days or just more recently?

teta · 13/05/2019 13:17

Just today.
Could it be I’m just very sensitive to the drop in progesterone?
Also my headaches reduced now I’ve had some food. I’m on the fast 800 diet so skip breakfast. Hence not being able to take ibuprofen this morning.

Sorry I didn't realise your Q was specifically just about today thought you meant the whole month.

prob just sensitive to the fall. Not a lot you can do but you could take it every day- no reason why not to though it might be better to have a break of a few days now and then to give any build up of lining a chance to come away.

Can you use paracetamol instead of Ibuprofen?
