I hear talk about testosterone and other medicines.
Is it just a bit hit and miss?

If you need to get the estrogen dose right, it's better to use something like estrogen gel because you can control the dose (anything from a tiny amount to a whopping 3mgs, by using different 'pumps' each day.)

Starting dose is 2 pumps= 1.5 mgs but you can go up or down.

Utrogestan (micronised progesterone) is what a lot if women use alongside it.

Testosterone is not really part of HRT unless you have specific symptoms- loss of libido and muscle wastage/ lack of energy.

It's better to get the estrogen part right first.
