Alternative to Elleste Duet 1mg

Have been taking these for almost 2 years but now can’t get my prescription anywhere due to supply problem. Have been without any for a week and feel like shit . Head is pounding, palpitations and insomnia back with a vengeance, mood very low.

Going to see GP on Monday to discuss an alternative, does anyone have any advice/recommendations?

What is it with HRT shortages? My Evorel Conti is having manufacturing problems too.

It’s really frustrating isn’t it... I can’t get Elleste Duet 2mg & the pharmacist suggested Kliofem. Not saying it would be right for you but the pharmacist was very helpful so it might be worth asking their advice if you’re struggling to see the gp. Good luck!

Thanks for your replies, pharmacist wasn’t really very helpful they just said get GP to prescribe an alternative and when I rang GP they said they needed to see me to discuss. Can’t get an appointment so going to see if I can get seen at their drop in surgery on Monday before I go mad! I’d forgotten his bloody awful I felt before I started HRT

there is elleste available at Superdrug!!! online orders .... we have to buy certain drugs which the nhs will not fund. Ive hadBLOODY TERRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS ON FEMOSTON .... THEY CHANGED ME FOR NO REASON , LOOK ONLINE ....
