Where are my hot flushes?

Have been having terrible hot flushes for months now, instant and fast.
Have been on holiday for a week, lovely relaxing time, no stress (I have a really high pressure job), just lying around and reading. My first proper do-nothing holiday for years.
I just realised that I haven't had a HF since before I went away, when I was having them 5 to 10 times a day. Obviously they're not psychological, but do you think there may be an element of stress attached to them in general?

If you are still in peri and having some periods, it's possible that the holiday (being relaxing) has triggered ovulation which will stop the flushes.
Yes they are also linked to raised stress levels.

Time will tell!

I had flushes on the hour when I was missing cycles, but when I started having periods again ( I missed a few then had a few more in a row) the flushes came and went depending on whether I was ovulating.
