Vagifem and Smear test

I am due a smear test, first since I started Vagifem which I need to use every day, plus I use a dab of Ovestin every couple of days too, do I have to stop that before smear test?

hi yes you do, I think about 5 days before, but do check.

My Gynaecologist recommends using vagifem before smears to make them more comfortable so I would double check.

My consultant told me to use for 10 days, daily, then stop 4 days before smear.
