Went for testing last year. All checked. Everything is fine. I went because my periods were just going on for a month at a time. My doctor said that is it the start of everything. I have had a few hot flushes etc.

She changed my pill to another to see if it would help. ( I’m allergic to towels etc and have had thrush and rashes all the time )

I have now been on for nearly three months. Sometimes it is light. Then others a I have a few hours of awfulness.

She said it could either take a while to work. Or it is just how it is going to be.

An internal option is not an option for me.
Please someone tell me at some point this period will stop. It is draining , expensive. And both me and my husband are just a bit frustrated with it. ( he is being wonderful though ❤️)

Have you thought of having the Mirena Coil fitted? For a lot of women it stops their periods altogether.

I had one of those before. Didn’t go down well. So not an option

That's such a shame, it's really helped me.

If you've changed your pill and have had this for 3 months, honestly I'd go back to the GP Thanks
