Vagifem, when did you notice a difference?

Just started this and having the front loading dose of daily pessaries over 2 weeks before I go to 2 a week. Interested to know how long it was til you noticed a reduction in symptoms? (Mine are dryness and itching).

It was 5 or 6 weeks before I noticed a difference. Symptoms slightly different though as I had soreness and the feeling of needing to wee all the time. Now on every other day and much better. Some women notice a difference in the first few weeks.

Thank you for replying. I'm monitoring my symptoms and they've exacerbated since coming off the daily pessaries, which I think were starting to help, but it's still early days (3 weeks in).

Some women need to use them every other day or every day. I know some gps are happy for you to use them daily.

The estrogen dose in Vagifem is half what it was several years ago so my GP is happy to prescribe five a week as that is equal to old dose.
Twice a week isn’t enough for most ladies so I would definitely up your dose.
