post menopausal bleeding

Has anyone else experienced this?
I've been using Evorel Conti patches for three years now, and over the past two weeks I've had three bleeds. Non of these have lasted more than two or three days and each time I've had very tender breasts and hot flushes at night, both during and between bleeds. I'm reluctant to go rushing to the GP unless it's absolutely necessary and really don't want to have to stop HRT- it's suited me so well, so far. Could it just be that the dose isn't high enough now? Any thoughts appreciated.

Please see your GP and get a 2 Week Rule referral to a gynae dept. Any post menopausal bleeding must be checked out. Thanks.x

As above.
There is no reason why you should have to stop HRT unless you have something seriously wrong.

How old are you and had your periods completely stopped before you started Conti patches?

Sounds as if you have had your own estrogen 'surge' and some kind of ovarian activity going on which has given you a normal period, not being controlled by the conti formulation.

But your GP must refer you for a scan asap.
