HRT patch: is this normal?

This is my first HRT patch. It has been on for less than two days. Is it normal to get the big dirty ring around it, or have I put it on wrong and am unspeakably filthy?

Cheers lazy. I wear jeans every day. May try somewhere else for the next ones as I don't want a ring of muck round my hips when I go swimming.

Happens to me too - I only started about 3 weeks ago

I can't get the rings off without really scrubbing

Mind you I'm just grateful I haven't had an allergic reaction!!

Tell him they are the modern lady's equivalent of bedpost notches, and mean you're an incredible shag.

My patch goes like that too. The glue on the edges is a fuzz collector! I'm a couple of months in now and I put them on my hips or the very top of my bum where they don't wrinkle up too much. The sticky bits come off ok if I run them gently with my nail.

Tote · 07/02/2019 18:55

Same for me regardless of what I wear or where I put it.

I use cotten wool and bio oil to get it off.

surreygirl · 07/02/2019 19:42

I get it too, I use baby oil then a hot cloth to get rid. Usually goes very fast.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/02/2019 20:24

baby oil works once they are removed

FoldyRoll · 07/02/2019 23:34

Thanks everyone. Just changed the patch and the tide mark came off easily with some oil based eye makeup remover.
