Evorel Sequi

Can anybody please help me. I am just 57 years old and 2 years ago at the age of 55 I went to my Drs with menopausal symptoms - severe night sweats/anxiety and aching joints. As I had not gone a full 12 months without a period I was prescribed the Evorel Sequi patches and told I would have a light period every month - which I did. My symptoms disappeared within a week and I was delighted. After a year the Dr said I should change to the Evorel Conti as I would almost certainly be through the menopause. However, these patches caused me to start bleeding almost continually. I persevered for a few months then returned to the Dr and was put back on the Evorel Sequi. Now 2 years on I am experiencing occasional night sweats again along with painful breasts and heavy bleeding (clotting). I am due to see my Dr in 3 weeks time (the earliest I could get an appointment!) and I would love some advice of where to go from here?
