53, no period for 3 years. not on hrt/vagifem etc (fortunately no major symptoms although won't go on meds for personal reasons).
last 6 months or so (depending on what position..) it is quite painful and have a very small amount of light spotting afterwards. Few months ago saw a gp & a gyni both of which gave me internal and were happy with what they saw and said it would have been vaginal tearing due to thinning of walls. We use a lube' so i am not dry but it does feel like there is a particular area that is more likely to hurt in a 'deeper' position & thus a tiny bit of blood which i find distressing despite having had it checked out. Anyone else have this? tbh it has made me more fearful of intercourse although seems ok if i avoid certain positions. appreciate thoughts thanks
