I had an ablation 3 weeks ago, it’s been pretty straightforward but I’m losing yellow jelly like discharge and my stomach is still so tender, hate having anything round it.. is this normal? Any ideas? 😕x

Op I had one around 8 years ago and had no after affects like you describe but I’m sure every woman responds differently. I’d get it checked to ease your mind

That could be an infection, I’d call 111 and get checked out.

Yeah I think I’d better too.. just didn’t want to overreact..Trouble is I’ve had an iron infusion as well for the first time last week, so my body doesn’t know if it’s coming or going at the moment! Has the ablation worked for you?

Thanks, I’m going to, just wasn’t sure I wasn’t overreacting .. are you glad you’ve had it done?

OP I haven’t bled since I had it. No spotting, nothing. Best thing I ever did. Good luck

Oh that’s so good to hear!! I’ve read so many horror stories but this was my last option before hysterectomy. And the symptoms I’ve had past few days have almost cleared up today, it’s the first day I’ve felt pretty normal again.
Thanks so much for taking the time x
