I have one next week with a menopause specialist and wondered if anyone has any suggestions for what I should ask? I'm 43 and been Peri for 4 years with it being at its worst for the last year. I have been keeping a diary on my phone of symptoms and moods but just thought I'd ask if there's anything I could ask? Thanks

I think the onus is on them to talk to you and ask how you are.

You will want to discuss symptoms, possible treatments, and pros and cons of each.

Good luck Flowers

Make a note of all your symptoms so you don't forget any when you are sitting there.

At my first appointment the lovely private GP asked me how I felt and how my family are managing. She was very explicit about sex and that was helpful as I'm not bashful in any way but it's easier to respond when someone is asking you the right questions!

Talk about your symptoms and if they affect the quality of your daily programm and your life in general ask for hrt. And the risks of not taking it.
My main regret is that I didn’t ask medical help sooner and spent some time suffering. I had no idea about peri...🤭
