HRT and hair loss? (Femoston)

I'm in my second month of cyclical HRT (Femoston) and have noticed my hair becoming a bit thinner. I recently stopped using retinol as it seems that can be a cause of hair loss too, so I'm completely undecided whether it's down to the retinol or HRT!

It's not coming out quite as much as when my iron levels were at rock bottom, but still more than usual.

Has anyone here experienced hair loss so early after starting HRT or is it unlikely to happen so quickly? I don't want to panic and stop the Femoston if it's the retinol. Though I am panicking slightly as my hair is thin to begin with...

Yeah, I have noticed that my hair is thinner, I am on Femoston too but I think that it is due to meno and not because of hrt. My dermatologist suggested a hair lotion and he said that it is normal during peri.
