Hi looking for advice I’m on sandrema gel all month and Utrogestan day 15-26 problem is I’m bleeding on day 22. This is first month and I feel good on this protocol If I stop Utrogestan now and start again as day one is that ok? bleeding isn’t heavy so maybe just break through ?

Hi No you have to take the full course of Utrogestan each time even if the bleed comes early (I've had this and checked with my menopause consultant.)

All the time you are taking Utrogestan it is working to help stop the lining building up, so even when you are bleeding it will oppose the gel.

One thing- if you take it at night, it says on an empty stomach (without food.) However, taking it with food increases absorption so it may well stop the early bleeding as the bleed starts when the levels fall.
