Lack of Sleep, head hurts

I've been having lots of peri symptoms recently and its gradually getting worse. I finally have a doctors appointment on Monday so will discuss my options. The biggest problem I have is lack of sleep, I wake at 2 and thats it can't get back to sleep. I start worrying about things and feel my anxiety is getting worse. I also wake up sweating but not soaking. I can't remember the last time I had a good nights sleep and now my head hurts when I move my right eye above my eyebrow, I do think its lack of sleep so I'm not going to google it, I'm anxious enough and will only make myself worse. Has anyone used the herbal Nytols? or any other tips? I've tried exercise, chamomile tea and my diet is fine with no alcohol. Desperate for a good nights sleep now as I have a teenager and a small child and work full time. I'm losing my temper at the slightest thing (lack of sleep) which is unfair to them and OH.

You need to consider and ask for HRT. That's what will help as long as you have no medical reasons to avoid it.

Yes that's my intention at my appointment. Just didn't want to be trying out the right one for me so near to Christmas when I have my children to consider. I've heard so many different outcomes on MN and I know I its all trial and error. Bloody hate the menopause especially at 44 its CRAP!!
