I'm 48, periods still regular as clockwork. But apart from a few days after my period starts, I'm getting period pain stomach cramps for the rest of the month. It's very uncomfortable and really getting me down. Has been like this for about 6 months. Anyone else have or had this? TIA.

I had this (and other symptoms) for about 6 months before i was given HRT (evorel Sequi). i am 47 in 4 months and still regular although much lighter with my periods. Cramps could start from day 10 of my cycle . Since being on HRT, no cramps in between periods. (i have had cramping issues during my period but that's another thread!!)

FYI - i use Period Tracker on i-phone and have done since i was 40 - i cannot recommend it enough for tracking all your symptoms and it was a god send when i went to my GP with a list of symptoms that had steadily been building over the past 2 years. It wasn't until i sat down and went through my tracker, that i realized how many symptoms I had each month, regularly, and that they couldn't be explained away as stress or life related!! HRT has calmed all of these down in between my periods.
