I know NICE say don't measure fsh beyond age 45 but my doc just did that as I've health issues. My fsh was 40, it was 50 two years ago.

Doc said I was menopausal. Thing is I still get periods(length varies), so obvs I'm peri. I'm 46. Just wondering are my periods about to stop? Anyone else had high fsh levels but periods for a while?

Yes. 18 months more of periods after 1 high reading. That's why the tests are not worth doing.

My FSH was about 35 with almost regular periods but severe meno symptoms.
