Hello,
I am in my early 50s and still have periods each month though they are not what they were...
I get itching lately. My scalp, hands feet and occasionally more generally. My scalp made me think I had nits [I work with children].
Scared myself silly googling and seeing liver complaints. [Midnight last night trying to see if my eyeballs were going yellow].
However, is this something any of you have had at this menopause type age?
Took half an antihistamine which helped a bit. Will take another this morning.
Found old pack of menopace night which will start taking again more regularly.
Just want to see if I should be worrying/ or if I'm not alone!

Hi Dinky

From what I’ve read, itching is quite common in perimenopause. I’m at a similar stage to you, early 50s and still having periods, although very irregular. I quite often experience what’s called ‘formication’ - a feeling like there are ants crawling on me. Also a common symptom! Drives me nuts and antihistamines make no difference.

Thanks. Itching stopped for the moment. Sure will be back though...
My memory - well worry may never return...

Hi OP
Itching is a very big part of it for me Blush
I take an antihistamine and if that doesn't work I take two paracetamol.
