Best time of cycle to stop sequi hrt (gel)

I’m getting one sided headaches and wondering if it’s hormonal. Was going to stop the hrt for a while to see.
I’m just about to start the utrogestan half of the cycle - do I need to do this before I stop? Visions of my lining being unable to thin

You should stop during/before the withdrawal bleed and not use the gel while you are bleeding (imo- not medical advice so check with your dr.)
