Hot flushes are driving me insane. During the day I can cope, but nights are total misery. We're going to change our mattress in the hopes of easing these flushes.
Can anyone recommend a mattress that does NOT have memory foam ?

I switched to a wool mattress protector and wool duvet cover. They are available at Dunelm and I think they have made a difference.

Wool duvet, not duvet cover.

Is there any reason why you're not considering HRT which would help hugely?

Joodith · 14/09/2018 08:11

BC cancels out using HRT :(

I'm off to Dunelm this morning actually. I'll check out the wool duvet. I must admit I didn't know you could get them made from wool.

I do thank you both for your replies :)

I hope they help.

Out of curiosity- what about pillow recommendations?

I got a summer weight wool or cotton duvet and I double it over and sleep in the middle of it. On cold nights I sleep under it and then flip off the top layer when I get hot.
