AF was due last week, I had the usual sore breasts etc and three days of raging pmt (usual but worse than usual iyswim) but no bleeding yet. Feel OK apart from extreme tiredness but there are a number of reasons for that.

So is this the beginning of the end? What should I expect next and do I need to do anything /see anyone? Is the PMT going to continue, or is not sure DC can take it Sad

I'm 48

Nothing useful to say, I'm afraid, but I'm watching this with interest. I'm the same age as you and have been having very irregular/missing periods - and hideous moods - for the last few months. I have no idea if this will go on for months or years - it sounds like it's so different for everyone. I was reluctant to even consider HRT but reading this board has made me reconsider and I might go to the GP to discuss options....

It’s likely that you will miss a few cycles, then things go back to normal, then you miss a few more. That can go on for a number of years. You don’t need to go to GP unless you start to get symptoms that cause you probs or get any unusual bleeding.
