Losing confidence

I shower every morning and always like to be clean and fresh. I've been using a maximum protection deodrant for a couple of weeks but today I used an ordinary Dove deo spray. Hubby commented I'm not fresh tonight. Feel disappointed that despite showering every day, using deodrant and wearing fresh clothes, I'm not smelling good 😞

'not fresh tonight'- does he mean you actually smell of sweat?

Are you sweating more?

Personally I don't rate sprays as they are mainly water. maybe try roll on or a stick kind? And shower again before bed?

He said I smell "pitty", meaning armpits . I've taken off my t shirt and can't smell anything ? I have a keen nose for bad smells, so this is strange.
My body temperature has been raised for a week now, making me feel uncomfortable but I'm not sweating, it's dry heat. My face isn't warm at all

Maybe it is his perception or...maybe he is in menopause???😂
Actually when my peri starts I was feeling more sweaty and my smell was “heavier”. When I started hrt everything was back to normal, even my smell! I don’t know, maybe it is only my idea...:)

I had to change my deodorant to a sure stick because I had exactly the same problem op. Luckily me & dh had a chuckle about it as we've both been having weird health things since hitting the 50's. Haven't had any smelly pits since though.

TBH this sounds more like a relationship issue. Sorry but it sounds as if he's latching onto your lack of confidence (??) and is making a snide comment totally uncalled for.

Maybe you should change him and not your deodorant Grin

I tried a JML chillow last night. It was fabulous and kept me feeling cool. When I woke up this morning it was nearly as warm as a bean bag that had been in the microwave!
