How do you get your oomph back?

OK, I have an appt to see GP about menopause, but in the meantime I really need some short-term fixes to get some oomph back!

I'm absolutely lumpen at the moment, can barely move (and I ache too). I can barely think either, I mean every thought is so difficult, even what to have to eat next.

I'm trying so hard to keep off sugar/bread/carbs - mixed success though. But really I need to get through the next couple of weeks feeling a bit lighter physically and mentally.

What do you do that really helps?

It's hard isn't it.
For me I have increased gentle exercise, use a step counter.
Drastically changed my diet, this has helped hugely with aches and joint pain and also sleep.
I take supplements.
I have routine, plan things and have to stick to them.
Lists, lists lists, for everything from housework to shopping to things that need doing generally.
Otherwise I won't leave my bed...literally would not leave my bed.

As far as thinking, I can't help with this as I can't and don't effectively or efficiently think meaningful thoughts any more.
But this menopause bitch is not going to beat me. I'm too fucking angry most of the time to allow it Grin
