HRT and pelvic fullness

Hello,
Sorry about these messages but...
I've been using two pumps of oestrogen gel now for five days in a row. The one symptom I have which I don't like is a sense of fullness in my pelvis - a bit like the felling before a period (the sense starting higher and then moving down and then the day before your period when the lining sheds).
I'm not taking progesterone yet - the consultant suggested trying the oestrogen for a few months and then trying the progesterone.
I'm guessing this is thickening of the uterine lining - at least this is what it feels like. Is this normal. Any advice please.(I had a one off consultation with the NHS consultant and the GP is not that up on HRT and was anti the consultants advice anyway).
Thanks!

You have estrogen receptors all over your pelvis- ovaries, uterus, muscles- so it's just they are being given a wake up! Don't worry. It won't be the lining building you can feel other wise you'd be aware of that every month in your fertile life and HRT is a far lower dose of estrogen than our own.
