Will things ever go back to normal?

So no bleeding for a year now, being awake for 3 hours in the night fretting about inconsequential bollocks seems to be at an end, and I only wake up for a wee now. I assume I’m now post-menopause. Will I ever lose the extra weight, will the hot flushes disappear, will I forever need a nanna nap, and will I ever have more energy?
Experiences, please!

No experience sorry, I am in peri and on hrt but my instinct says that our body cannot survive without our hormones.
Maybe our symptoms will change with time but I do feel that the quality of our lives declines dramatically after meno.

Weight loss- eat less. Sorry to sound blunt but after midlife everyone's metabolism slows down and we need to eat as little as half we did before. Smaller portions, focus on lean protein, fruit and veg, healthy fats, whole grains, and cut out sugar, refined carbs, crisps, cake, biscuits, crisps, booze etc. No easy way ! Daily exercise helps.
Flushes etc- again, sorry but these can last 20 years or more or forever.
No one knows - it's different for everyone. I've been on HRT for 10 years , since my early 50s, and can't be bothered putting up with flushes and all the other crap. maybe give it a go? Useful stuff here menopausedoctor.co.uk/
