Omg as it says!

Could not stop coughing and the wee kept coming Blush

Posted in menopause as I have been showing signs of peri menopause for a few months. Is this another sign?

Any advice, going to get back to pelvic floor, it gets better and then I forget again. Confused

I struggled to remember to do the exercises, then I kept reading different ways to do them, some of which seemed incompatible with the others. In the end, I saw a physio, which focused my mind much better. She showed me not just excercises, but focused on fluid intake etc. I am much better now, but unfortunately you have to keep doing them, or things go back. It is worth it though.

Yeah it's another sign. It's one that really annoys me as I thought it was just a sign that you'd had a baby (I haven't). I've been smug as you like for the last twenty years certain that it wasn't going to happen to me and it has - GP confirmed it was yet another symptom when I mentioned it as an afterthought 😟

Hello, it happened to me a few weeks ago at the end of a run - couldn't stop the flow, tried to squeeze my pelvic floor but my poor brain couldn't remember which muscle it was. I think I may have clenched my thighs together but that's not the same thing...
Anyway, I've downloaded the NHS Squeezy app and it pops up on my phone three times a day to remind me about the exercises. It even manages the timings for you. It's a paid app but not expensive and definitely worth it.
