Cold flashes

Hi I’m writing this on behalf of my mum.
She’s 72 and STILL going through the menopause
She had a hysterectomy in her early 40’s and in the last 3 yrs is suffering from cold flashes . They stop her planning things , they stop her going out , they stop her enjoying her very busy social life and it’s really getting her down.
Does anyone have a clinic they can recommend ( Oxford or London area) or anything that may lessen or stop them .?
I’ve heard reducing caffeine and sugar can help. And exercise, soya milk can too.
PLEASE get in touch if you can recommend anything at all.......
Many thanks for reading x

Hi, if the cold sweats just started at age 69, then it's unlikely to be down to the menopause. Sorry if I've misunderstood and your mum's had them since her early 40s. Has your mum been checked for other things, like low blood sugar or low blood pressure? Has her GP advised anything?
