Enlarged uterus

In an MRI I had recently for arthritis it was found I had an enlarged uterus due to know fibroids. After doing a bit of research it seems this happens in perimenopause. Just wondered if anyone else had experience of this?

Yeah, I do. Pretty common at this stage, I'm hoping they shrink when I'm menopausal. Think one large one might've got smaller recently. Often cause no problems but if they do (heavy periods, constipation, pain) worth going back to your doctor. My only option is a hysterectomy and I'm trying to avoid that at all costs.
