Feeling sorry for myself so apologies. Anyone else getting large clots in perimenopausal periods. Im 40 and have had checks already for fibroids and ultrasound for anything suspicious. Period started 2 days ago only 16 days after last one and in 5 hours have gone through 8 thick pads and large clots in all. Bigger than tablespoon size.

Can only empathise, horrible things giant clots. I didn't realise how painful they were, absolutely hate them. TMI but will never eat tinned tomatoes again.....

Go to your gp. There is a drug you can take to reduce the amount. I am taking it. Can't remember name. Good luck

It’s is common during peri. If your ultrasound is ok and you have no fibroids, there is no need for worry!

Me too & period every 21 rather than 28 days- lucky me Angry

Tranexamic acid would help. Think it's available OTC.
