Estraderm same as Evorel?

Arggg, GPs and their lack of understanding of hrt....

Realised last month that my prescription for utrogestan was 1 x 100mg day 15 to 28 which I discovered thanks to forums that is not the recommended dose. Saw GP today and brought it up for him to say that it wasn't much different but if I wanted 200mg a day for 12 days, that was fine... I didn't bother to argue that I was only asking for what he should have prescribed rightly in the first place.

Anyway, just picked up a new box of patches and instead of being Evorel patches, it's called Estraderm. Is it a case of Estraderm being a generic brand of exactly the same thing or could it be different? The last thing I wantis try something new when I'm only on month 3 and already been testing the difference between 25 and 50mg.
