Perimenopausal or stress?

I'm 43 (44 soon) and have been having a truly awful time with EA dc dad since I left him a year ago. I'm so very stressed, can't sleep and feeling generally awful.

Recently I've started having night sweats and my boobs are hurting. My periods are still regular and haven't changed. However i wondered if I was actually becoming perimenopausal.

I can't tell if I'm just so stressed with my situation that it's all coming out at night or if given my age that I am becoming perimenopausal. Or if stress can trigger menopausal symptoms. Anyone know? I can't deal with that on top of everything else currently going on in my life! How do I find out?

It’s very likely you to enter peri.
I was feeling the same a year ago and I had regular periods too. I was thinking that it was just because of my stress or tiredness but actually it was my hormonal.
You can ask to measure your FSH. Stress makes you to feel the menopausal symptoms more severely.
