Can anyone recommend a good shampoo? Hair thinning and lacking shine.

I use Tresemme usually but am going to use Roots from Superdrug when it runs out as it's supposed to help with hair thinning. I'm taking Viviscal at the moment - really expensive but has really improved the condition and texture of my hair as well as making it grow super fast. My hairdresser was amazed.

Ok thanks will look into that. How long have you been taking it for?

I use Kerastase products and argan oil for my hair and I avoid blowers. My hair looks healthy and shine but it is not so thick as before. I feel that it gets better with time.

Been using it for 45 days as I just finished the first packet today. Think it's doubled the speed to growth. Not sure if is helping with the patches that look thinner, but that's not supposed to happen until you've been using it longer anyway so I'm keeping in there.

Anyone used coconut oil? Have heard that can be good.

I just bought OGX bamboo fiber-full strength & body shampoo and conditioner for the same reasons.

Have actually had 2 days of NOT looking like Andrew Neill, which has made a pleasant change! Hair really does feel like it has a bit of bounce and much shinier.
Have you tried a caffeine shampoo? I used Alpecin for a bit but didn't see much difference and the smell was a bit medicated although I'm sure there must be nicer ones out there!
