Feeling very low....is it Elleste?

I started taking Elleste about 6 weeks ago. I'm nearly 50. Night sweats are much better and I'm sleeping more but still never well....so still tired a lot. Itchy skin better than it was but getting spots & feeling bloated....also craving sugary stuff ALL the time.
My worst thing though is feeling very very low...this has got worse over last few weeks. And doesn't seem to make a difference which colour pill I'm taking.
I have been on antidepressants before but weaned myself off them in Spring last year.
I'm feeling worthless & crying a lot.
Has anybody else had this? Is it the meds? I phoned doc last week...earliest appointment I couid get is 24th April.

I did. I lasted 5 days before I was seriously down.
I've never had depression before but I also had low mood on the mirena coil.
I think I'm sensitive to hormones.

You're probably not imagining it. My mood lifted as soon as I stopped.
Thanks

Thank you for your reply.
I have the mirena. I've been ok with that.
Just wish I didn't have to wait so long to see the doc.

I think that maybe you need give your body more time to adjust. Maybe the progestin in Elleste does't suit you.
I felt good on hrt almost immediately but it takes me 8 months to feel like my old self again. At the first months I felt suicidal and I couldn't recognize myself...something happened with my brain and estrogen receptors I guess...:)

i started elleste duet a month ago and i was a bit worried, mostly due to things i had read online and i have a long history of depression , I stopped taking SSRis a long time ago when i realised they didn't really help me long term. I'm feeling so much better on Elleste, a fog has lifted, i actually instigated sex for the first time in over year and have a bit more energy overall. I can't wait for it to improve even more, i'll get my old life and my old self back.
