Perimenopause - What birth control pill did you use to stabilise hormones during the perimenopause?

I’ve been prescribed Yaz but keep getting headaches and I’ve only been on it for 6 days.
I do feel my hormones are more steady though which was the main thing.
I’d love to hear what other brands were used or recommended to you. I live in Dubai and don’t really feel I’ve got the best doctor!
Many thanks x

I used qlaira which was fine for about three years, then I switched to hrt when the mood swings returned. But I don’t need birth control.

Thank you. Unfortunately qlaira isn’t available in Dubai Confused

Another pill with estradiol is Zoely. If it is no available in Dubai, just ask for another pill for older women with low dose of estrogen. Hope it helps! :)

No Zoely here either Sad
I’m going to come off Yazas it is giving me heart palpitations (I noticed this after just one day) and is really not helping anxiety!
Thanks for your response xx
