Downy facial hair removal

What is best?
Anyone tried laser removal? Results?
Waxing/threading? Does hair grow back thicker?

Laser only really works on dark hair, but for dark hair it is very effective.

I’ve tried facial wax but it just seems to leave goo on my face!
