facial redness and rash, could this be HRT related?

I have started HRT 3 months ago, and since a week or so I have developed a facial rash that comes and goes, my face gets all warm and red and I have a few spots as well, a bit itchy, it looks like quite severe rosacea, could it be due to HRT? I feel so much better on it apart from that, my energy level is great, I sleep through the night, I don't have this heat intolerance anymore, but if I get disfigured I am not sure it is worth it. The notice mentions skin rash, but more at the site of application of the patch. Any advice gratefully received. thanks

I think it may be a coincidence. Rosacea is something that can be triggered by meno in lots of women so maybe soon the HRT will help it? See a dermo if it carries on?

Well I just read now that sometimes HRT helps and sometimes it triggers rosacea on a NHS website. I think I will stop HRT (and coffee) for a bit and see if it helps.

Know this is a very old thread but I’m experiencing the same problem. Just started HRT a month ago, feel much better but my facial skin is red and painful. Did you stop and did it help?
