Hi can anyone help with my blood levels? I've basically come to the conclusion I'm either perimenopause (I'm 46) or I've got endometriosis as just before my period I'm in agony and up and down like a yoyo with loads of other symptoms related to hormones.
Oestridol 1,011 pmol/L
FSH 8
LH 8.iu
TSH 3.7
I like to ask opinions before I see GP as he doesn't always explain so any help is aprappreciated thanks :) x

Don't know much about perimenopause but sadly know a lot about endo. What are your symptoms?

Lelli17 · 25/12/2017 19:22

Pain in hips like bones crumbling. Difficulty walking like spine out of place just for a week. Depression not feeling myself, brain fog not concentrating. Heavy periods with clots. Feeling sick almost like in pregnancy not tho!!. Moods terrible! So so tired! Etc :(

Oh bless you. I can relate to a lot of this but I also have ME and fibromyalgia. I was on a drug years ago that induced temporary menopause and that's when all these symptoms started (aside from the heavy periods and clots which I've had for years since I started my periods). Definitely does sound like it's a hormonal issue. Fatigue is often stated as a symptom of endometriosis but I do wonder why and what the cause of that is. Sorry I can't be more help - does sound like it could be related to menopause, so hopefully someone who understands your results can help more!

Thank you. Apreciate your help and hope you are ok? My issues sound trivial lol. X

I have exactly same symptoms, they only last a week although fatigue is permanent. I have a Mirena coil so no heavy periods. Having recorded these episodes they occur just after ovulation( still get ovulation pain ) and last about a week. This coincides with the drop in oestrogen post ovulation. I suspect if it was anything else it wouldn’t disappear after a week and would be more random.
I am speaking to my GP tomorrow to see if I can have a low dose of oestrogen replacement. I always said I wouldn’t have HRT and if I was just having hot flushes then I wouldn’t bother, but the muscle pain and sheer exhaustion are really getting me down.
