As stated above had implant contraceptive - stick in arm for almost three years, so almost time for it to come out. I am 44 and have not have had only a few periods since having it in. The last one a few months ago. When I had the implant put in I gained some weight and this time last year my boobs became quite large and tender, but have subsided now and are smaller again along with weight loss. They do not change or fluctuate in size or tenderness iyswim. It is mainly this which makes me wonder if menopause is starting. Maybe when I have the implant taken out my periods may start again? Has anyone else been in this position with the implant at the same age as me?
