Very, very slight bleed after sex is this normal with menopause?

I'm 52 and still having some periods though I'm now going much longer between periods (6 periods so far this yr). My GP won't do blood or hormone tests but I assume I'm definitely perimenopausal heading towards menopause.
Luckily I don't really have many menopause symptoms at the moment but I now have to use a lubricant for sex. A couple of weeks ago we got carried away and I didn't use lube, it did feel a bit uncomfortable and afterwards I had a little blood when I wiped. We had sex again 48 hrs later and there was still a tiny tiny sliver of blood even though we were more careful.
Since then this hasn't reoccured and I haven't had a period either, until tonight when it's happened again, even though we used lubricant but it was a bit vigorous to start with . Again it's only a tiny smear. I could be due a period but my cycle is so erratic now it's hard to tell. I had a clear smear test in Feb this year.
I will go to Drs next week but am wondering if this could be linked to menopause.

It's vaginal atrophy. It's 'normal' but you need to get medical help or it will get worse.

Basically, your vagina dries out. Any friction causes it to bleed as the skin is so fragile. See your GP for some estrogen cream which you need to use in the vagina.

Get yourself some topical estrogen asap, I use Vagifem, do not leave it, as it will get more severe.

Another vote for Vagifem. Wonderful stuff that's changed my menopausal life.

I had similar problems and have ovestin cream now. Works really well and can definitely recommend it.

Needs to be prescribed by your doctor

It is probably vaginal atrophy but go to your GP -you need a smear and an Ultrasound scan.
