First time posting on this topic, so please forgive me if i'm an utter pleb and use wrong terminology!

At the lovely age of 45 i am entering the pre-menopause (according to doctor at beginning of year). All has been fine, had a few light flushes but nothing i can't handle.

The last 2-3 months, especially around "time of the month" my vagina has been driving me insane. It is so dry, and the need to itch is enough to drive me to drink 3 bottles of wine and pass out so i can forget about it!! its not painful, but i am very aware of it if that makes sense. Tampons are a no go at the moment due to dryness and they make the dryness worse. I am using non-scented sanitary towels, which i hate as i feel like i am leaking....

Any of you ladies have any tips as to what i can use/try/buy/do to help with the dryness and itching. Went to Boots today but was packed and consultation room was in use - didn't quite feel like discussing my lovely problems in front of people.

Thank you
x
