No tubes one ovary

Had both tubes and one ovary removed, uterus stayed put, not yet reached menopause before operation will I now have menopause or will I carry on a single normal?

I don't think anyone can tell you that! How long is a piece of strong....:)

In terms of fertility, one ovary is supposed to take over from two, but not sure about in menopause. Have you had a google and searched this question? Must be something out there.

Thanks Polly - yes have googled but mostly posts about trying to conceive with no tubes one ovary. Just wondered about menopause- hot flushes but no other symptoms hoping end of periods now. Haven't had one since surgery....I'm 54 and was regular before surgery.
