Hi guys,

I am 42 and been regular with my periods to the point I know what day I will start! I've always been the same and when ever I've been late it's always been due to pregnancy and nothing else.

I'm 7 days late.

I've been sterilised (11 yrs ago) so I can't be pregnant, but I feel maybe I'm too young for menopause when my mum was quite old when she went through it, age 60! and you usually follow our parents cycles don't we?

Why do you think I'm so late? 😟

Stress?
Shift working?
Numerous reasons really but could be menopause

What do I do if it's menopause? I'm feeling like shit at the min, like I'm on the edge of breakdown all the time!!

nothing to do right now, but if you don't have a period and are 1-2 months late do mention it to your dr. especially if you feel terrible all the time, HRT may be the best option for you (read the NICE guidelines).

My period started today and it's really really bad. I stand, it gushes. I move, it gushes I'm wearing pads and Tampons and changing them both every hr! I hope it slows down!! Hope this isn't the start of things to come for me!
