Can perimenopause/menopause affect your sense of smell?

I've got a weird heightened sense of smell sometimes - could it be hormonal?

No idea but mine is decreasing and I am post-menopausal!

I get that when I have a hormone induced migraine my sense of smell is enhanced and contributes to nausea just like it did when I was pregnant
