I'm 53. Still having periods. I've now had one for over two weeks - is this normal/part of peri?

They can get very heavy and long, so not unusual. Both the friends I've been commiserating with have had the same problem.

It's been over four weeks now. Is this normal? (I've already been to hospital to check that there's nothing untoward and results were clear).

It was normal for me during peri, sometimes lasting three to four weeks. Then I would get one lasting two days. It's great isn't it!
