Is this peri?

This last week I've had what I think are hot flushes both day and night. I'm 46, periods still absolutely regular and normal, no other symptoms. Lack of libido but that's been going on for years anyway. Not on pill or any other medication. Does this sound like I'm in peri?

Hi, I was going to post a thread asking this, but saw yours so thought I'd reply! I am younger than you, 42, but have been waking up with night sweats/hot flushes in the week leading up to my period. Am on the pill so period is very light, but consists of mostly dark blood, I mentioned this to the doctor and she said its just a change of hormones. I am also getting awful PMS, feel like my brain is in a fog, making mistakes/forgetting things, moody etc - definitely getting worse.
I am considering whether supplements would help but no idea where to start.
Any help/advice gratefully reveived. And my sympathies to you OP!
