Peri and diarrhoea

I'm sure I'm peri menopausal (48) but lately I've been having diarrhoea for 4 or 5 days at a time and I've just worked out it's roughly 9 or 10 days before a period. My periods are still fairly regular but seem to be getting closer together (approx 21 days)

Has anyone else experienced stomach issues like this??

Yes, exactly as you say and also the periods. I'm 46 and definitely peri. Closer together periods but very light.

Yes. I am 46 but it's only a one off at ovulation time which I put down to everything swelling and pressing on the bowel

The bloating sucks! Any suggestions on OTC products to take for it?

I also have a long standing reflux issue - so it's always fun here 🙄

Yep all of the above, although only mild tummy troubles (both looser bowels and slight constipation depending on where I am in my cycle - I think it's the hormones)

Also the bloating just before my period makes me look about 5 months preggers Shock Only lasts a couple of days though.

I'm 49 - such fun HmmConfused

I have to take omeprazole for my reflux, knock. It's been bad since I was pregnant with DD2 12 years ago. And the reflux definitely worsens at one point in my now 21-day cycle.

@expatinscotland I already take Lansoprazole and Ranitadin. God knows how I have any stomach acid at all but it keeps on coming!!,

My reflux is especially dire right before I come on.
