Increase in trips to the loo

Think I'm peri menopausal but self diagnosed! Over the last year or so I've noticed I need to wee far more frequently. I have never given birth so don't have any related pelvic floor issues. But I find the time between having a drink and needing the loo is getting shorter, I can't drink as much without needing to go and I get to that desperate feeling more quickly. Is this a common symptom or should I get checked out for something else?

Potentially the start of vaginal atrophy which also effects our bladders , local oestrogen for many sorts this out.😊

This is also a diabetes symptom, so if it's a marked change to your usual and you're concerned, I'd get it checked out.

Totally non-medical, but I have found that sitting down and counting to ten first (when I get to the loo) helps me with control/urgency issues.

Thanks all...think I'm going to bring it up when I have my next smear... definitely feel something isn't right and can't match it to fluid intake
