Will this help with my moods?

I went to the doctors today to ask for something to help with the mood swings that I am having. I haven't had a period for about 3 years, my shape has changed around my middle, I do have some hot flushes and my herpes, which I know is affected by my hormones, has come back with a vengeance. I'm early 50s so I think it's safe to say I'm menopausal yes?

Doctor has prescribed Kliovance which according to the leaflet will only really help with the hot flushes.

It's my mood that I think is the main thing that I'd like help with. I seem to be either crying or shouting these days and I really can't go on like this.

Any thoughts or advise gratefully received.

Kliovance is a mainstream HRT so yes,it ought to help. Good luck.

Thanks for responding PP.
I've been reading some other posts on here since I started this one. Am I correct in thinking the Kliovance could also cause some bleeding?
