Feel as though I'm lactating

I'm 52. Had a hysterectomy last year, kept ovaries.
Don't really know what stage I am in menopause really.Getting through one thing at a time..
New symptom that I'm not sure about had begun and wondered if anyone else has experienced it.
Feel as though I'm lactating, the really full feeling you get when you need to breastfeed. Other than being a lovely reminder of feeding my babies it is actually quite annoying. Not painful, no discharge, no lumps, just there really. If it was only in one spot on one breast I would probably be a little worried but it is both breasts, the same sensation.
I assume at 52 every new thing that happens to my body is related to menopause now Hmm

I'm just starting the perimenopause (mid 40s) and I've been getting this sensation too (and the lovely memories of feeding babies, but also the annoyance!)

Have no idea if it is normal or not as this is all new to me!

Yep. Me too. Always makes me think of how warm and cosy it was snuggling with my new born. Strange feeling indeed. Another joy of peri.

I get that. Didn't know it was a symptom of the perimenopause though !
